St Mary's Church Hire
St Mary's church is a remarkable venue for concerts and other public events. The church can seat an audience of 640 people.
Rates in 2010:
General rate
£350 for a session, including two-hour rehearsal (before the event).
(£400 if a longer rehearsal is required. £450 for a whole day.)
Charities rate (where event is fully in aid of a specific charity):
20% of ticket sales plus £35 for steward
Additional charges:
£100 if pews need moving.
£50 if it is necessary to bring staging or equipment into the church on the previous day.
£50 for use of data projector, camera and large screen and £30 for data projector operator.
£50 for use of organ.
£25 for use of chamber organ.
£25 for use of grand piano.
£30 for use of PA operator, if our PA is required. .
